Scientists say that the plant compounds in spinach help enhance immune system and aid the body in disease prevention.

Spinach is rich in folate which can help to convert potentially dangerous homocysteine (a protein that damages arteries) into a harmless substance. It is reported that too much of homocysteine accumulated in our body may increase the risk of heart disease or even stroke.

The fiber, folic acid, magnesium, vitamins A and C and other essential nutrients found in Spinach helps prevent cancers of breast, colon, prostate and lung. The flavonoid in spinach also helps fight against cancer.

Did not realize spinach had so many health properties!
